How to make bootable pendrive by Rufus software


For make bootable pendrive you need Window ISO image and Rufus software. Here, In this blog I show you how to make bootable pendrive of Kali Linux. I already download Kali Linux ISO file. If you have Window 10 ISO file then you can also follow the same step.

Step-1: Download Rufus by official website



Step-2: Now scroll down and click on Rufus 3.11(3.11 is the version of Rufus) and download this software



Step-3: Go to downloads and where you find this Rufus file and now click on it. Now,it a menu open and then click on 'No' if you don't want updates.



Step-4: Now insert pendrive first and then click on 'Rufus' . So that it automatically select your pendrive. Then you see menu like this and now click on "Select".



Step-5: Now browse from your PC ISO image of window(like window xp,window 7, window 10 , Linux etc.) which you want to make bootable and then click on Open.



Step-6: Now name the pendrive if you want. Here, I give "Kali Live" you can choose according to your choice and the click on start.


Step-7: Now for this step you need internet connection so that it download additional file so first connect with internet and then click on "Yes"


Step-8: Now choose 'Write in ISO image'.


Step-9: Now Your process start and it take 5-10 minute depend upon your pc performance.


Step-10: After completion now click on close.



Your bootable pendrive is ready
